3D-printed tripod mount for the Google Pixel 6 Pro

For use with the Spigen Tough Armor case

Many newer smartphones have such high-quality cameras, that they in many situations are more practical to use than DSLR cameras.

One disadvantage with the smartphones for picture-taking, vs. DSLR cameras, is that they can’t be mounted to a tripod, without additional mounting hardware.

There are generic tripod smartphone mounts available for purchase. But since I have a 3D printer, I like to create my own direct-fit tripod mounts for my smartphones.

That’s what I did for my LG V60 ThinQ, with the dual-screen. That mount also fit the V60 without the dual-screen, when using the Spigen smartphone case. The V60 tripod mount is available on Thingiverse for download.

Since I switched phones to a Google Pixel 6 Pro, I designed a new tripod mount for the new smartphone. This mount is designed to be used with the Spigen  Tough Armor smartphone case as well. But it could possibly be used without a case, or with a thinner case, by adding soft spacer strips inside the mount, by using, for example, thick tape or weatherstrip. If you have a 3D printer, it would also be easy to modify the STL file to fit your particular case for your Google Pixel 6 Pro smartphone.
